1. Acceptance of Terms
By connecting a wallet, signing a transaction, or otherwise interacting with Forge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. What the Service Is (and Isn't)
Forge is a non-custodial frontend that helps you interact with Solana smart contracts — including SPL Token, Token-2022, Metaplex Token Metadata, and Raydium CPMM. The Service constructs transactions locally in your browser and presents them to your wallet for signing. We never have access to your private keys, seed phrase, or signed authority.
Forge is not:
- a broker, dealer, or money transmitter;
- a custodian of your funds or tokens;
- an investment advisor or financial planner;
- an issuer or underwriter of any token created with the tool;
- a guarantor of any third-party protocol's behaviour (Solana, Raydium, Metaplex, Pinata, RPC providers).
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You represent that you are not located in, organised under the laws of, or a resident of any country subject to U.S. comprehensive sanctions (including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions) and are not on any sanctions or denied-persons list.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including securities, commodities, consumer protection, anti-money-laundering, and tax laws. Some activities that Forge enables — such as creating tradable tokens or conducting airdrops — may be regulated where you live.
4. Your Wallet, Your Keys, Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- the security of your wallet, seed phrase, and any hardware key;
- verifying every transaction your wallet asks you to sign;
- maintaining backups of any NFT (e.g. Raydium lock-fee NFTs) that grants ongoing rights;
- the consequences of signing a malicious transaction, even if surfaced through Forge.
We strongly recommend a hardware wallet (Ledger, Keystone) for any treasury or operator wallet, and a separate "hot" wallet with limited funds for daily interactions.
5. Service Fees and Refunds
Forge charges flat-rate service fees on certain mainnet actions (token creation, pool creation, paid airdrop tiers). Fees are bundled into the same transaction as the action they pay for. The current fee schedule is visible inside the app and may change at any time without notice; the rate shown at the time you sign a transaction is the rate you pay.
Successful transactions are final and non-refundable. The Solana blockchain does not support transaction reversal, and Forge has no ability to recover funds once a transaction is confirmed.
Failed transactions automatically refund the service fee — because the fee instruction lives in the same atomic transaction, a revert refunds everything. Network rent (the cost of creating new accounts on Solana, which is paid to validators, not Forge) is also refunded for fully reverted transactions.
Devnet and testnet usage is always free. We do not charge service fees for non-mainnet networks, and any apparent "fee" on those networks is purely cosmetic test SOL.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- create tokens that misrepresent their nature, purpose, or affiliation (e.g. cloning a real project to deceive investors);
- conduct "rug pulls", "honeypots", or any scheme designed to deprive holders of their funds;
- launch unregistered securities in jurisdictions where they would be classified as such;
- facilitate market manipulation, wash trading, or pump-and-dump schemes;
- impersonate any person or entity, or infringe their trademarks, copyrights, or other rights;
- distribute malware, phishing links, or content that violates applicable law;
- conduct activities subject to international sanctions or anti-money-laundering laws without appropriate authorisation;
- circumvent any rate limit, fee, or technical control built into the Service.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any user, blacklist any address from receiving fees, or disable specific Service features at our sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the tokens you create, the metadata you upload, and any logo or media you provide. By uploading a logo, you grant Forge a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it inside the Service for the purpose of helping you manage your token.
The Service's code, design, branding, and original written content (these Terms, FAQ, etc.) are the property of Forge or its licensors. The application's open-source dependencies are licensed under their respective terms and remain the property of their authors.
8. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING — BUT NOT LIMITED TO — MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any specific outcome (e.g. successful token creation, profitable token, fee accrual) will occur. Smart contracts, RPC providers, IPFS gateways, and wallet software are third-party systems whose availability and behaviour are outside our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FORGE, ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST TOKENS, LOST FEES, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL SERVICE FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO FORGE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Forge and its operators against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property; (d) any token you create, market, distribute, or operate using the Service; or (e) any activity carried out through the wallet you connected to the Service.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time without notice. We may update these Terms periodically; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your wallet. We may terminate or restrict your access to the Service without prior notice for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive (Sections 4–11, 13) will survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Forge is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, and you waive any right to participate in a class action against Forge.
14. Contact
For questions about these Terms, reach out through the support channel listed on the project's public repository or website. Forge does not provide phone or in-person support — all communication is asynchronous and over recorded channels.
